One of the 'delights' of the current timetable between Bournemouth and Southampton is that the xx.27(ish) SWT service which you think would arrive at Soton before the xx.46 Voyager in fact doesn't. It stops at Brockenhurst for about a fortnight in order to let the Voyager through. So, rather than ease the 5 or 6 minute connection for the next train at Soton, intending connecting passangers get to wait for the train they could have caught from Bomo to start with. Handy for snapping the Lymington 3 CIG if nothing else....
